21. Wesleyan Methodist Graveyard (former site)

Located on the south side of Walnut Street, west of Christian Street.

History:

In 1809 or 1810 a Methodist Church was established on this site and a graveyard developed around it. In 1851 this cemetery was removed and the remains were transferred to Lancaster Cemetery. No gravestone transcriptions were copied before this graveyard was removed.
