Eshbach Family Graveyard,
Lancaster Twp., Lancaster Co., PA

Formerly located South of Wabank Road, east of Millersville.

History:

Earliest recorded burial - 1806
Latest recorded burial - 1881
Probably destroyed by a quarry operation on this site. People buried at this site include: Eisenberger, Eshbach, Longenecker, Myer, and Reist.

Transcriptions:

1930s - Albert H. Gerberich, reel #1, part 2, p.135.

Note: This graveyard was rediscovered in 2000, on a farm southeast of Barbara Street east of Millersville. The gravestones appear to be dumped here. They are lying flat, scattered across the ground. I checked the gravestones and the transcriptions match those of Gerberich in the source listed above.

Current location of the Eshbach graveyard, southeast of Barbara Street, about 1/3 mile southwest of the former site.

A quarry operation now occupies the former site of Eshbach Graveyard.
